The day I was hired at DCL, I knew my priority project would involve an overhaul of the corporate website. At the time, the current website was built in Flash - a deprecated coding language that rendered the website virtually invisible to browsers, search results and clients.
The potential to create lasting impact included a multi-faceted approach. The success of the project would rely upon creating a responsive experience and intuitive design that spoke to various stakeholders while boosting brand awareness and incorporating the latest in tracking analytics.
To understand how I could build a successful design solution, I conducted research between two critical audiences; competitors and clients. Everything from their layouts, visual aesthetics, terminology and website architecture was analyzed.

The research was then synthesized and utilized in content organization and initial website wireframing.
