This project was developed as part of my Google Professional Certificate in UX Design. Presented with a design prompt 'Design a mobile-app solution for pet adoption' - it follows the entire design process from research to ideation and concept delivery.
My project began by empathizing with users - interviewing, creating personas and identifying pain points. From this research, I began to understand and identify a gap in the market and build user journey maps.
The research conducted was essential in remaining user-focused and developing problem statements to guide the design solution.
Hands-down one of my favorite phases of a project is coming up with various design possibilities. Practicing crazy-eights and fast-paced sketching, I was able to eventually evaluate the ideas for the user group I was designing for.

Following the ideation phase, I refined the paper and low-fidelity wireframes to begin prototyping the design solution.

Low Fidelity Prototype
I conducted two usability studies at different stages - once after the low fidelity prototyping phase, and again after the high-fidelity prototyping phase. Each study focused on solving user pain points and developing research insights to guide design improvements.
